THIRST NO MORE 

As most of us know, I’m in Ghana and the heat is ridiculous. There is no escape too. You wake up, there’s heat! You sleep, there’s heat! You bath the coldest water ever, still heat! If you step out without a bottle of water and there is no water seller in your area, just start praying because you are doomed. So I was listening to “Fountain” by Judikay and I remembered when Jesus told the Samaritan woman in John 4:13-14 that “Anyone who drinks this water will soon become thirsty again. But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again”. I started to think physically, if I had that water Jesus is talking about here in Ghana, that’ll be amazing. I will walk around without being thirsty…wow. Unfortunately, this verse is more spiritual than physical. 

Jesus is this verse is offering a life changing solution. You see there are plenty benefits of water. According to Google, a person cannot go 3 days without drinking water. So you see, the importance of water. Water refreshes us. Water gives us strength! The water that Jesus is offering us here is a water that will never run dry. That will keep us generated at all times. That will wash away all filth. The Bible says the water that Jesus is offering will “becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.” Are you not intrigued and excited to drink this water? The water that solves everything? The Samaritan lady had the response that I would have given. She said “Please, sir, give me this water! Then I’ll never be thirsty again, and I won’t have to come here to get water.” John‬ ‭4:15‬ ‭NLT‬‬. Jesus is offering you the water that of life. Take it. Do not let this opportunity pass you by. The water that gives eternal life! The water! 

Today I’m just here to encourage you to take this water. You will never thirst no more. Let the water flow through your belly! Let the water flow like a river in your heart, your soul, your body. “Is anyone thirsty? Come and drink— even if you have no money! Isaiah‬ ‭55:1‬ ‭NLT‬‬. The water is free. May God fill you till you overflow in Jesus name. Drink from the well of God and you will never thirst. You will never go dry. The water has so many purposes, but the important one is that it gives you eternal life. Come o ye that thirst! May Gods bless you all.

Prayer: God we thank you for the opportunity of eternal life. Go as I pray, fill me up O Lord! Let me not thirst no more in Jesus name. Fill me till I over run in Jesus name. This is ask in Jesus name, amen.
